What Is Education Scholarship Trust Fund (ESTF)?

South Carolina's ESTF functions like an education savings account, giving eligible K-12 families funds through a ClassWallet digital wallet. Enrollment is capped statewide and fills quickly on a first-come, first-served basis within tiered priority windows.

Apply during your priority window: Window 1 (returning students & siblings) runs Nov 1 – Jan 14; Window 2 (military families and other priority groups) runs Jan 15 – Feb 8; general enrollment opens Feb 9. The program is capped at 15,000 students statewide and has filled in prior years — apply as early as your window allows.
